81-year-old Woman critically injured in Las Vegas Hit-and-Run; Driver sought by Police

Las Vegas, NV – A woman is in critical condition following a hit-and-run accident Friday night in the west Las Vegas valley.

The crash occurred shortly before 10 p.m. near Desert Inn Road and Grand Canyon Drive.

According to authorities, a dark-colored Nissan Sentra — possibly a 2016 to 2019 model — was driving east on Desert Inn when it turned right at the junction and struck an 81-year-old woman walking in a marked crosswalk with the signal.

According to authorities, the motorist departed the area immediately.

The woman was sent to a local hospital with critical injuries.
