A months-long investigation into a Fairfield residence on Bond Street led to the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of multiple illegal drugs, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Authorities said the residence had been the subject of numerous complaints, ranging from disturbances and breaches of peace to suspected drug sales and other quality-of-life concerns. Following the investigation, Fairfield Police, in collaboration with the State’s Attorney’s Office, obtained a search warrant for the property.
The warrant was executed Wednesday morning by the South West Regional Emergency Response Team, Fairfield Detectives, and Bridgeport Taskforce Officers. During the search, police allegedly recovered quantities of fentanyl, crack cocaine, ecstasy, Adderall, and drug paraphernalia.
Three individuals were arrested at the scene:
- Christopher Gilbert, 24, was charged with possession of hallucinogens with intent to sell, possession of over half an ounce of crack cocaine, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory setting. His bond was set at $100,000.
- Joseph Gombas, 33, was taken into custody on four outstanding warrants with a total court-set bond of $200,000.
- Sarah Nuccitelli, 36, was charged with possession of narcotics.
All three individuals are scheduled to appear in court on July 9.
Fairfield Police said the arrests reflect their ongoing efforts to address drug activity and quality-of-life issues within the community.
