A long-term drug investigation by the Oshkosh Police Department and the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Group (LWAM) led to an arrest and the seizure of more than a pound of drugs earlier this week.
According to a news release, authorities executed two search warrants on Monday, June 23 — one at a residence in Oshkosh and another at a home in Nekimi. The operation resulted in the recovery of over a pound of illegal drugs.
Police did not disclose the specific types of drugs seized or the identity of the suspect. However, officials confirmed that the investigation had been ongoing for an extended period before Monday’s enforcement action.
The Oshkosh Police Department and LWAM stated that the investigation reflects their continued commitment to addressing drug activity in the area.
