Houston, TX — A tragic crash in Houston’s Alief neighborhood claimed the life of an infant Wednesday evening, according to the Houston Police Department.

The collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred around 7699 Cook Road, between Bellaire Boulevard and Beechnut Street. Police responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.

Authorities confirmed that the infant, who was less than a year old, died in the crash. No other injuries have been reported.
