A 46-year-old Greenleaf man was sentenced Monday to more than 17 years in prison on multiple charges, including stalking a victim under the age of 18.
According to court records, Craig Pagel was found guilty of 12 out of 31 charges. Following his no-contest plea in late April, the remaining charges were dismissed but read into the record at sentencing.
Pagel received consecutive prison sentences totalling 17.5 years, as well as 21 years of extended supervision.
Pagel, known in the community as “The Cheese Guy,” allegedly asked several underage girls to send him nude photos. Investigators later discovered the images on his computer.
According to the criminal complaint, some of the photos were created with AI technology. Pagel’s computer contained folders that allegedly identified the victims by name.
With Monday’s sentencing, Pagel’s criminal case was concluded.
