PARMA, Ohio — A 27-year-old man is facing murder charges after allegedly fatally shooting his cousin near a Parma apartment complex over the weekend.
Dalonte Lamaur White has been charged with the death of his cousin, Adrian D’Angelo Webb, 27, following the deadly incident that occurred on Saturday, according to local authorities.
Parma police were dispatched to the 6500 block of State Road around 11:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Officers arrived to find Webb lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics provided medical assistance and transported Webb to University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators quickly identified White as the suspect and located him at an apartment on State Road. During a search of the residence, officers recovered multiple firearms, police said.
White was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with murder. His bond was set at $1 million during his initial court appearance at Parma Municipal Court. His next court date is scheduled for July 11.
Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive for the shooting, and the case remains under investigation.
