Florida SNAP Benefits Increased for 2025 New Maximum Amounts and June Payment Schedule Announced

Florida’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is rolling out updates to its maximum benefit amounts for fiscal year 2025, which ends on September 30, 2025. The adjustment, a result of a 2.5% cost-of-living increase (COLA), affects not only SNAP payments but also other federal assistance programs, including Social Security.

New Maximum SNAP Amounts

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) confirmed that the revised monthly SNAP benefit caps are now in effect for all household sizes:

  • 1 person: $292
  • 2 people: $536
  • 3 people: $768
  • 4 people: $975
  • 5 people: $1,158
  • 6 people: $1,390
  • 7 people: $1,536
  • 8 people: $1,756
  • Additional members: +$220 per person

It’s important to note that actual benefit amounts vary based on a household’s net income. Deductions for expenses such as housing, childcare, and medical bills are subtracted from gross income to calculate eligibility, meaning households of the same size may receive different benefit amounts.

June 2025 SNAP Payment Schedule

Florida distributes SNAP benefits between the 1st and 28th of each month using a case-number algorithm. For the third payment wave in June 2025, funds will be issued as follows based on the reversed 9th and 8th digits of the case number:

  • June 16: Digits 54–57
  • June 17: Digits 58–60
  • June 18: Digits 61–64
  • June 19: Digits 65–67
  • June 20: Digits 68–71
  • June 21: Digits 72–74
  • June 22: Digits 75–78
