Houston, TX – In a dramatic turn of events, two robbery suspects have been apprehended following a tense encounter where they fired multiple shots at undercover police officers in southeast Houston on Tuesday afternoon.
Prior to the shooting incident, authorities in Houston reported that the two individuals had committed a robbery at a Family Dollar store.
In a dramatic turn of events, officers from a multi-agency task force, engaged in an unrelated investigation, witnessed a robbery unfold before their eyes. Swiftly, they pursued the suspects and the driver of the getaway vehicle.
Authorities reported that the individuals involved began discharging firearms at the covert officers amid the pursuit. All officers remained unharmed.
After a brief moment of losing sight of the suspects’ vehicle, officers successfully located the two individuals hiding in a backyard on Cullen Boulevard, aided by K9 Taz.
Authorities have apprehended two individuals linked to a robbery, while the driver who facilitated their escape remains at large.
