Marion County, KY – A two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Marion County claimed the life of a 55-year-old man and led to the arrest of another driver involved in the crash, according to the Kentucky State Police (KSP).
Troopers responded to the intersection of US 68 and the Lebanon Bypass around 10 a.m. on June 8 for a reported injury crash. Investigators say 26-year-old Justin Baron was driving a Dodge Ram westbound on US 68 when he attempted to make a right turn at a high rate of speed.
Baron lost control of his vehicle, striking a GMC Sierra driven by William Norris, 55, of Loretto. Norris had been stopped at a traffic light on the Lebanon Bypass when his vehicle was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner.
