Four individuals face charges following a reported robbery and assault in Ogden. A woman reportedly requested to see the victim, only for four masked assailants to storm in and hold him up at gunpoint during the encounter.
Three individuals, Crissa Courtney Shaw, 25, Ayden Anthony Valencia, 19, and Carter Cory Jones, 27, face serious charges of felony aggravated robbery and felony aggravated assault. Anthony Joseph Lilly, 19, faces serious charges including conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
Documents reveal that on May 13, 2025, officers from the Ogden Police Department responded to a call in the 800 block of Wood Street in Ogden. A victim has come forward, detailing an attack and robbery carried out by a group of assailants.
Shaw, once involved with the victim, reached out to him to inquire about visiting his home, according to the documents. Just moments after she stepped inside the house, four masked intruders burst in and made their way downstairs.
Authorities report that the victim observed one individual wielding a machete, another armed with a short-barreled rifle, and a third possessing a handgun. A man armed with a rifle warned the victim that any attempt to resist would result in him being shot in the leg.
In a brazen act, four masked individuals made off with a variety of valuables from the victim’s home, taking jewelry, electronics, tools, and keys. Shaw departed with one of the male suspects as the victim was threatened at gunpoint and his residence was looted.
Following the heist, the suspects departed in a dark blue sedan, notably lacking a rear driver’s side hubcap, as captured by surveillance cameras. Footage from surveillance cameras shows the vehicle at multiple locations throughout Ogden City during the night of the robbery.
Police were the first to locate and arrest Shaw. On May 19, she faced charges and is currently in custody at the Weber County Jail. A search warrant was executed for her phone, revealing photos of a man in a hat captured on surveillance footage.
Officers in Ogden successfully located Jones thanks to the unique hat he donned, and they recognized his blue Honda Civic as the getaway vehicle. On May 20, he was taken into custody, with charges filed the following day.
Valencia emerged as a potential suspect in the ongoing investigation. Authorities executed a search warrant on his phone, uncovering a conversation from the day prior to the robbery involving him and Lilly. Valencia informed Lilly about a scheme he had in mind and talked about obtaining weapons and ammunition.
A search of Lilly’s residence uncovered a firearm hidden within cat litter. On June 5, he faced arrest and subsequent charges related to his involvement in the robbery. During his time at the jail, he reportedly placed a call and directed someone to erase data from his phone from a distance.
Valencia confessed to authorities his participation in the robbery and assault. On June 5, he faced charges, admitting to having brandished a firearm at the victim during the robbery.
Shaw, Jones, Lilly, and Valencia are now in custody at the Weber County Jail, facing charges and are currently held without bail. No charges or arrests have been made regarding the fourth masked person connected to the robbery.
