A tragic incident in Arkansas has resulted in the death of a teenager following an attack by several dogs.
A tragic incident unfolded on Wednesday, June 11, as the Saline County Arkansas Sheriff’s Office reported that dogs fatally attacked a woman within a fenced area of private property.
At around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office was alerted via a 911 call about an incident involving a female who had been attacked by dogs. Authorities and medical responders swiftly arrived at the location, according to the police statement.
Authorities reported that a 15-year-old girl was tragically killed by several dogs found within a secured, fenced area on private property.
Authorities reported that approximately 30 dogs were found within the home, described as part of a rescue operation.
“The individual had been actively involved in the rescue efforts, providing care for the animals and aiding in their search for permanent homes,” officials stated. “The motive behind the unexpected and heartbreaking assault remains unclear.”
The sheriff’s office stated that they will not disclose the victim’s name “at this time,” emphasizing their “respect for the family.”
Authorities have announced that, with assistance from Benton Animal Control, they have seized the “animals at the location that have been associated with the attack.”
